Is BeautyLash vegan?

All BeautyLash Tinting Kits, the Brows up! Style & Protect Gel, the Eyelash Enhancing Serum, and the tint remover are vegan and certified by the Vegan Society.

Do you test on animals?

We do not test the products on animals, have never done so, and testing on animals has never been done on our behalf. This is in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (EU Cosmetics Regulation). We do not allow anyone to do animal testing with our products/brands.

In addition, raw material suppliers are not allowed to test cosmetic raw materials on animals. We can confirm that we get our raw materials only from reliable suppliers.

Where is BeautyLash produced?

BeautyLash is made in Austria by manufacturer GW Cosmetics in Leopoldsdorf, a company full of tradition that has been producing hair tints and hair cosmetics of high quality for over 80 years. For further information visit https://gwcosmetics.at/en/

I am very sensitive/allergic to most dyes – can I use the BeautyLash Tinting Kit?

The BeautyLash Tinting Kits do not contain the ingredients used in traditional oxidative tints. The coloration principle is based on the interaction of silver nitrate and vegetable ingredients. However, we always recommend to do a skin test 2-3 days before tinting the eyebrows.

Tinting Kits

I tinted my eyebrows with BeautyLash Tinting Kit, but also my skin has stains now! What should I do?

BeautyLash is based on silver nitrate, which can lead to staining of the skin when in contact with it. When staining has appeared, dampen a cotton bud with water and softly rub the affected areas to quickly remove the discolouration. Within 2-3 days the discolouration disappears by itself with regular face washing.

I tinted my lashes with BeautyLash Tinting Kit black, but the effect is too subtle.

For more intense results try the following: Ensure that your lashes are dry and free of oil (Note: many make-up removers contain oil!). Apply the Colour Gel with the brush to your lashes like you would apply mascara. Afterwards also apply the product from above to the lash line, so that every hair from root to tip is completely and evenly covered with Colour Gel. The Colour Gel is absorbed by the hair. After two minutes, remove residues with a dry cotton bud or a cosmetic tissue by wiping the lashes between thumb and index finger. Remove the Colour Gel as gently and thoroughly as possible.

Now give the hair time to dry thoroughly: We recommend waiting 5 minutes before applying the Developer Gel for more intense results.

After 5 minutes apply the Developer Gel with the application stick. Your lashes should be completely covered from root to tip. Please note, that the Developer Gel should be transparent when getting in contact with hair; therefore, please wipe the application stick with a cosmetic tissue before using it again. Work precisely in order to avoid staining the skin.

As well as tinting, I also want to pluck/wax my eyebrows – in which order should I do this?

Always do the tinting first! After hair removal the skin is irritated and tinting directly afterwards could cause inflammations.

I just plucked/waxed my eyebrows - can I use the BeautyLash Tinting Kit?

No, please wait at least 24 hours before using the tinting kit. After hair removal the skin is irritated and tinting directly afterwards could cause inflammations.

Eyelash Enhancing Serum

Can I use the BeautyLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum during pregnancy?

We have no information about any negative effects after using the BeautyLash Eyelash Growth Enhancing Serum during pregnancy, but please note that we did not conduct any special studies with pregnant women. Further, as a manufacturing company we don’t have the necessary medical knowledge and we therefore can’t give any medical advice. If you are not sure if you can use this product we recommend talking to your doctor before usage.

BROWS UP! STYLE & PROTECT

Can I use the Brows Up! Style & Protect Gel together with mascara?

Yes of course – either underneath the mascara for additional care and protection or on top of the mascara for additional gloss. You can also use the BeautyLash Brows up! Style & Protect Gel by itself, for a natural look.

Can I use the BeautyLash Brows up! Style & Protect Gel during pregnancy?

We do not see any problems using BeautyLash Brows up! Style & Protect Gel while being pregnant, due to the fact that Conditioning Gel is only a care product similar to a mascara. The ingredients are classified as harmless, but please note that we did not conduct any special studies with pregnant women.
